Bernard Newman

In 1948, one year after the Roswell Incident, a British writer named Bernard Newman published a book named Flying Saucers. The plot of the book was a group of scientists hoaxed a UFO crash in order to force global disarmament. Earlier in 1943 Newman had written another book which gave details for the rebuilding of Europe after World War II. From that book it is clear Newman was almost certainly an intelligence agent close to those in power. It is possible that the publication of Flying Saucers, largely ignored by ufologists, a warning from MI6 that England knew what the US was doing.
